Legal

Terms of Service

Effective date: August 3, 2026

These terms are a working draft and will be finalized with legal counsel before general availability. Questions? Contact us.

1.Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using TripDocs, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

2.The service

TripDocs organizes your uploaded booking confirmations into a single itinerary, which you can view, manage, and optionally share. TripDocs is built and operated by Wayrivo.

3.Your account

You need an account to use TripDocs. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure.

4.The documents and content you upload

  • You own the booking confirmations and other documents you upload. Uploading them to TripDocs doesn’t transfer that ownership to us.
  • You grant us a limited license to store and process your uploads solely to provide the service — extracting itinerary details, organizing them, and displaying them back to you (and to anyone you choose to share the trip with).
  • You confirm you have the right to upload the documents you submit.
  • How we handle your documents in detail — including what we never do with them — is covered in our Privacy Policy.

5.Sharing your trips

Sharing is off by default. If you turn it on, you control who can view a trip — via direct invitations, a private link, and an optional access code. You’re responsible for who you choose to share a trip with.

6.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload documents that aren’t yours or that you don’t have the right to upload;
  • Use the service to store or distribute unlawful content;
  • Attempt to access another user’s account or trips without authorization;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to circumvent its security.

7.AI-extracted information

TripDocs uses an AI model to read your documents and extract details like flight numbers, dates, and confirmation codes. This extraction can occasionally be wrong. Always verify important details — check-in times, gate changes, confirmation numbers — against the original document or directly with your airline, hotel, or provider before you rely on them.

8.Intellectual property

The TripDocs software, design, and branding are owned by Wayrivo. These terms don’t grant you any rights to them beyond what’s needed to use the service.

9.Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we don’t guarantee the accuracy of AI-extracted itinerary details — see Section 7.

10.Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed flights or bookings resulting from reliance on inaccurate extracted information.

11.Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Security, which permanently removes your trips and documents. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

12.Changes to these terms

We’ll update the effective date above when these terms change, and post material changes here before they take effect.

13.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
