Follow Toronto’s shoreline west on a self-guided, 4.5 km audio walk from Sugar Beach to the Princes’ Gates. Enjoy harbour views and stories about the Redpath Sugar refinery, Jack Layton Ferry Terminal, Toronto Islands, CN Tower, Rogers Centre, Music Garden and lakeside trails. Discover 21 points of interest at 20 mapped stops. GPS-triggered audio plays on your smartphone as you approach each place, and a live route map shows where to go next. Download the tour over Wi-Fi before setting out to use it offline. Allow 45–120 minutes, or pause for photos and breaks and continue whenever you like. This is a mainly outdoor, self-paced walk with no in-person guide. Landmarks are viewed from outside or passed along the route; attraction admission, interior visits and ferry travel are separate. Nearby buildings can be closed without preventing you from completing the walk.
